Alien Sky: Every sphere has a very strange sky, as each protects its inhabitants from an unbreathable atmosphere. This is implied to be the state of the Mofang homeworld as well, and if Farley's theory about the purpose of the Trees is correct, the other two worlds are also on the verge of extinction.
